This new race airbox kit offers 20% more volume behind the filter,
+ 1.5 - 2 kW (2-3 hp) over the entire rev range, 40% weight reduction compared to the standard airbox with Sprint air filter.
The fuel tank is used as an airbox cover and sealed with an O-ring.
It has built-in ventilation of the engine housing and has no open drains in accordance with racing regulations.
Motorcycle maintenance and engine accessibility are easier and faster.
The supplied air filter is made of a fireproof sponge and has a high air flow rate,
but you can cut and fit a finer filter plate if you use the bike on a dusty track.
It is 3D printed in MJF technology from carbon-reinforced PA12 powder to ensure good strength combined with low weight and precise and repeatable fitting.
The geometry and airflow path were intensively optimized using CFD calculations - thanks to DMZ Engineering, our partner in this project.
Installation note: The engine wiring harness needs to be relocated a little and the mating system and tank vent need to be removed.
The included Gabro Racing Map offers a complete electronic deactivation of these elements, including lambda sensors.
The UpMap system is not included.
