The Continental IMU (gyroscope) installed in these motorcycles reacts very sensitively to vibrations and can trigger an alarm,
when ridden hard, especially on the race track.
The red warning message on the dashboard reads "Alarm Service ATC disabled" and is recorded by the motorcycle's ECU as "P1911 sensor box failure".
Apart from vibrations, the error can also be triggered by a curb contact on the racetrack.
You can see on You Tube, most of the on-board track videos on YouTube show this dash alarm.
When the fault occurs, the bike's electronic aids are garbled by the gyroscope information,
the ECU switches to "safe mode" and limits the motorcycle's performance.
Only switching the button off and on can reset the alarm and restore the correct operating status of the motorcycle.
Until the next fault occurs.
This IMU damping system has been developed by Gabro Racing over the last 2 years of racing activity with these bikes.
This latest revision has proven to greatly reduce the occurrence of faults.
On the test bikes equipped with these parts, the IMU error never occurred again.
