This system was developed to optimize the power and torque of the 660 cc parallel-twin engine.
It has EC/ECE type approval and complies with the Euro 5 standard.
The catalytic converter is located in the front part of the pre-silencer to ensure that the system is fully compliant.
The system is plug-and-play and requires no reprogramming.
Constructed of high quality carbon and stainless steel and lightweight titanium, the system was designed using race proven materials.
Designed to accentuate the racing look of the machine, it is 0.4 kg lighter than the stock system.
Tests on Akrapovič's in-house dyno compared bikes with a Racing Line (Carbon) system and a stock exhaust system and showed a 2.4 hp increase in power at 11,200 rpm and a 3.6 Nm increase in torque at 4,550 rpm, giving the rider improved throttle response.
The deep, full and sporty sound, as well as the pulsation of the parallel twin, creates the feeling of riding a larger displacement motorcycle and makes the Akrapovič Racing Line (Carbon) for the Aprilia RS 660 the ideal exhaust system for this mid-weight sport bike.
