Motul 7100 4T 10W50 is a synthetic multigrade oil with high-quality ester components and special additives for gear lubrication. Exceeds the requirements of motorcycle manufacturers such as Suzuki, Kawasaki & Yamaha who prescribe viscosity SAE 10W40. For high performance bikes, sport bikes, road bikes, trail bikes, off-road bikes, enduro bikes, trial bikes, quad bikes, scooters etc. with 4T engines with or without integrated gearbox, wet or dry clutch. Also for engines which meet the Euro-2 or Euro-3 requirements.
Advantages:
- Low traction coefficient of ester components reduces friction losses and improves overall performance.
- In combination with the additive package, ester components improve the shear strength, wear protection and service life of the engine and transmission. This is documented with the outstanding FZG (Forschungsstelle für Zahnräder und Getriebebau) test result of the damage load stage >14 FLS (Failure Load Stage). The lower the value, e.g. 1 FLS, the lower the wear protection, the higher the value, e.g. >14 FLS, the better the wear protection of the gear unit. This test can be used to determine whether an appropriate lubricating film thickness between the gears ensures reliable operation of the gear unit.
